The Sword Release New Single and Video Night City plus UK Tour

The third and final installment of the Warp Riders Trilogy has been released today by Texan metal warriors The Sword. ‘Night City’ was directed by Artificial Army and features Esteban Powell, best known for his role as Carl in the classic Dazed and Confused film.

The band are currently looking forward to touring the UK in May with the formidable skills of notorious intergalactic bounty drummer, Kevin Fender who joined the band last October when former drummer Trivett Wingo left the band for personal reasons. With Kevin now on board, The Sword will be touring the amazing Warp Riders album that was released in 2010 on Kemado Records. It’s The Sword’s first concept album, a science fiction maelstrom put to the storming, relentless riffage and pounding rhythms upon which the band has staked its reputation. It’s also their most flat-out, supercharged, adrenaline-pumping work yet, a chrome-plated war machine that lords over the blackened sky.

Enjoy Night City and see The Sword live at the following UK dates:

Slash appeared on the David Lettermanshow last week in the USA and premiered the RAUNCHY VIDEO of Beautiful Dangerous,
featuring Fergie as a sexy, crazed Slash stalker!! in the new video promoting the latest Slash track from his Debut solo album SLASH

“The song that Fergie sings on the record (Beautiful Dangerous) is a very hard rock song and was written to a stripper kind of beat, tailor-made for a girl that has balls. Her singing blew my mind…she’s got this killer rock ‘n’ roll voice” – Slash on Fergie

May 2010 saw rock icon Slash release his debut solo album “Slash” on Roadrunner Records. The album features an all-star roster of guest musicians including Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell, Rocco DeLuca, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmister, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Duff McKagan, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Andrew Stockdale of Wolfmother. Slash, enlisted the services of producing partner Eric Valentine (Queens of Stone Age, The All-American Rejects) and compiled a rhythm section of bassist Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) and drummer Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails). Slash handled the majority of arranging and songwriting duties and hand-picked each guest artist. The album was released to widespread critical acclaim and saw Slash headlining a sold out UK tour as well as show stealing performances at Download, Glastonbury and Wireless festivals in the UK. Fergie made her name with THE BLACK EYED PEAS as will as numerous other success’s including a solo career

Japanese Voyeurs debut album ‘YOLK’ and a new single ‘MILK TEETH’ is coming soon, download the free SMOTHER track from the album, Japanese Voyeurs have got themselves an edgy sound and they not afraid to display some true rock n Roll spirit, I rather like this band, with a ballsy raw sound and a ‘in your face’ blonde fronting the band in the name of Romily, Japanese Voyeurs have got an interesting time ahead. Out on tour with ‘Young Guns’ watch out for them!

Japanese Voyeurs first single release came early last year with DUMB..

This band are growing up fast, catch them and hang on..

My Chemical Romance – Na Na Na (is awful)

by on Oct.17, 2010, under video

I can’t lie, my hopes we’re never high for anything new by My Chemical Romance, so the shock is that they still managed to dash them. Normally when you hear a song several times it starts to grow on you – the more I listen to this the more I want to throw my computer in the bin and shout at it for daring to deliver such fail.

As I mentioned before I never had high hopes for My Chemical Romance’s new material, largely because I was never blown away by their earlier releases. Having said that they’ve always had a pretty large audience and I’ve been known to sing along to Black Parade in my time so it can’t have been complete garbage. This on the other hand is garbage that’s been left to rot in the summer sun for several weeks, and the garbage sings through its nose…some how.
