When Sharleen Spiteri performed at the Jamhouse, a stylish live music venue in Birmingham’s fashionable jewellery quarter, it was for three acoustic versions of songs from Melody the current solo album, including All The Times I Cried, Stop I Don’t Love You Anymore and her latest single It Was You (released 1st December), which were all met with enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd. It was reported by Rock3 journalists that the raptous applause encouraged Sharleen to perform several more songs as an inprompt encore.
