**********************************************************************************
Germany and Poland Refuse to Stock New This Is Menace Record !!!
**********************************************************************************

The supergroup made up of members from no less than 19 bands -

- including: Killing Joke, Funeral For a Friend, Hundred Reasons, Sikth,
Pitchshifter, Earthtone 9, Carcass, Napalm Death, Send More Paramedics, Therapy,
Hiding Place, Amen, Murder One, Charger, The Ghost Of A Thousand, Fightstar and
New Model Army -

- have landed in hot water over the controversial cover for their new album ‘The
Scene Is Dead’ set for release through Fourth Wall Records on 24 Sept 2007.

The cover featured a defaced recreation of the Last Supper of Christ with the
disciples heads changed for iconic faces of good and evil, including Adolf
Hitler, Elvis Presley, The Pope, Princess Diana, Stalin and Bill Gates, with
Christ’s head being replaced by the two-headed calf from the band’s first album
sleeve (No End In Sight).

German and Polish distributors have refused to stock the record describing the
cover as “Offensive and blasphemous”. The band has been forced to redesign the
artwork using the vocalists’ heads instead of the icons.

This is Menace architects M D Clayden and Jason Bowld were not available to
comment on the incident.

The album’s impressive track listing includes…

11, “100 VISIONS” featuring Paul Catten of MURDER ONE/BARABUS.

Techno industrial metal punks PITCHSHIFTER have announced that they are planning
a new studio album to coincide with their 20th Anniversary in 2009 !!

An exclusive track, from the tentatively titled ‘20 Years of Mayhem’ album, will
be given away to fans only at their upcoming UK shows.

In an exclusive interview on the band’s website, pitchshifter.com, frontman J S
Clayden states:
“Pitchshifter is a habit none of us can kick. We love making music and we love
playing live. We figured it’s about time we made some new tunes and hit the
stage again.”

By 2009 the band’s career will have spanned two decades; transporting Messrs
Clayden, Clayden, Bowld and Rayner on tour in 24 countries, including
appearances at Ozzfest, Vans Warped Tour and Reading Festival.

The band have released 8 albums, countless singles and EPs, won Kerrang Awards,
lost 5 guitarists, collaborated with the likes of Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys)
and John Stanier (Helmet) and worked with platinum producers including Machine
Freeman (Lost Prophets), Simon Effamy (Pantera) and Dave Jerden (Red Hot Chili
Peppers).

Pitchshifter’s “no bullshit” approach to fashioning their own brand of music has
secured their legendary status in the international metal scene and to this day
they still maintain a loyal army of fans.

This year the band will be returning to the place they are most at home - on the
road in the UK. Two dates have been confirmed for October:

London Astoria on October 12th.
Nottingham Rock City on October 13th.

Supports are confirmed as BRIGADE, Kerrang! favourites THE GHOST OF A THOUSAND
and heavyweight newcomers SHAPED BY FATE. The free ‘Cohesion’ EP is only
available at these two shows and also features tracks from all four bands.

LOVE FOR PITCHSHIFTER:

“Pitchshifter could take ten years off and still find themselves ahead of the
pack”- Kerrang!

“They never compromise; awesome guys; amazing songs - legends!”

- Ian Watkins, Lost Prophets

“One of the most influential British bands of the last ten years and way ahead
of their time.”

- Matt, Funeral For A Friend

“Making their own sound their own way….incredible live.” - Mikee Goodman,
Sikth

“A f**king freight train!”- Burton C Bell, Fear Factory

” Total devastation!”- Scott Kelly, Neurosis
