It is the second single to come from their smash hit new record ‘Tales Don’t
Tell Themselves, which rocketed into the UK album charts at #3 ! (to compliment
the EIGHT Top 20 Singles and Two Gold Selling albums in their ever bulging back
catalogue).

Indeed 2007 has already proved to be a jaw dropping year for the Welsh quintet.
When they debuted the ‘Tales Don’t Tell Themselves’ album on an exclusive
MySpace player, the record received a staggering 646,443 plays in just one week!

And then the guys previewed the video for the ‘Into Oblivion’ single on MySpace
and it was watched a staggering 14,000 times in just 24 hours (making it the
10th most watched clip on the entire of MySpace)!!

‘Tales Don’t Tell Themselves’ is simply the boldest statement the band have yet
made, and is both a culmination of everything they’ve released to date and a
breathtaking reinvention of their band. “We’ve never written anything like this
before,” says drummer Ryan Richards. “It’s just the best music we’ve ever made.
That’s really all I can say.”

Exile Parade’s forthcoming single Bicycle Thieves has just been confirmed as being included on the DVD of the hit E4 series Skins.

Their new single which is produced by Owen Morris (Oasis) and they have just signed a US management deal after featuring on the soundtrack to Jack Black’s latest film.

Many bands emerge from the hotbed of talent in the North West, but not many emerge with the endorsement of a best selling author ringing in their ears. This was the case for Exile Parade when Mick Middles (From Joy Division to New Order) heaped praise on the band after witnessing their live set.

Exile Parade released their debut double A-side Fire Walk With Me and Get Your Gun Boy to much critical acclaim late last year. The Warrington/Manchester-based five-piece have already earned a reputation for exhilarating live performances. 2007 promises to be equally exciting as have been signed to feature on the soundtrack to Danny Roane: First Time Director which stars A list actors Ben Stiller and Jack Black.

The band have already signed to a US management company. Currently the band are in the studio recording a new EP with Owen Morris (Oasis/The View) after he saw this gig last month…

‘One of Manchester’s hottest exports’

High Voltage

‘…the best song Oasis never wrote.’

UK Music

‘The most promising band to emerge in the last five years’

Named in tribute to the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist and his influence in introducing Eastern culture into the world of Western rock and roll, The Brian Jonestown Massacre have made some of the most exciting underground music in America since the sixties. Formed in 1990 in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco, The Brian Jonestown Massacre is very much an amalgamation of that city’s past and present musical forces.

Some 40 different members have passed through the group’s ranks since it’s inception, but the heart of the BJM is the ragged determinism of Anton Newcombe — producer, songwriter, guitarist, singer and the group’s primary creative force.

Having now reach legendary status due to their part in the classic ‘Dig’ film, the band are about to return to the UK for the following dates:

08/07 Scotland T in the Park
09/07 Newcastle Upon Tyne Academy 2
11/07 Birmingham Academy 2

1.) New Imprint For Cherry Red; Eclectic Discs

In 2003 an innovative reissue label emerged onto the British catalogue scene that quickly established an enviable reputation for excellence and top quality reissues in the progressive, psychedelic and classic rock genres; Eclectic Discs.

The imprint was conceived by respected reissue consultant Mark Powell, who has worked and continues to work on many well received reissues for major labels such as EMI Records, Universal Music, Sony BMG and Sanctuary Music, covering catalogue revamps by artists such as BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST, JACK BRUCE, CARAVAN, CAMEL, EMERSON LAKE & PALMER, GONG, PETER HAMMILL, STEVE HILLAGE, THE MOODY BLUES, PINK FAIRIES, THE STRAWBS, VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR
etc.

Now, the people behind Eclectic Discs have become Eclectic 2, a new
identity, but still a home for good music with the emphasis on quality
packaged and remastered catalogue reissues and inspiring new works from
artists with a history and heritage. Eclectic 2 is a part of a new chapter in the evolution of the Eclectic identity, but now as part of the Cherry Red group of labels.

The first releases on Eclectic 2 will appear in September 2007 and will
feature titles by Rare Bird (”Rare Bird” and “As Your Mind Flies By”), Egg (”The Civil Surface”), Gong leader Daevid Allen (”Good Morning”), Paladin (”Paladin” and “Charge”), Marsupilami (”Arena”), Big Sleep (”Bluebell Wood”) and a 2CD anthology by British progressive jazz rock outfit Jonesy (”Masquerades”) covering the band’s entire recorded output for the Dawn label. Most of these releases will feature previously unreleased bonus material. In addition the label will be releasing frontline products in the form of the first ever DVD and a new live album recorded by John Lees’ Barclay James Harvest at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London in November 2006. RedOctane’s “Guitar Hero™” Gets In The ‘Family’ Way Sponsoring Second Stage

Los Angeles, CA (June 28, 2007) – This summer’s biggest tour, Family Values, have teamed up with RedOctane’s “Guitar Hero” to sponsor a second stage this year with an additional five bands making a total of 13 acts on the tour, announced today. A likely pairing, rock’s biggest outing including co-headliners Korn and Evanescence, Atreyu, Flyleaf, Hellyeah, and Trivium partnered with the ultimate rock star experience, “Guitar Hero,” will foster hot new comers Five Finger Death Punch, Invitro, Twin Method and others to be announced shortly, on the second stage all for an added value and the best-priced lawn tickets of the summer at $9.99 (itinerary below).

The second stage will also include the largest national competition for the nation’s hottest electronic game, “Guitar Hero” to date. A “face-off” competition between eight “Guitar Hero II” finalists in each market, winners from earlier Radio Station sponsored events will play “Guitar Hero II” on stage between sets and compete for an autographed Korn guitar, band access passes and a chance to play Jonathan Davis backstage after the show.

Korn have been longstanding fans of the game with Jonathan Davis going public on his obsession with “Guitar Hero” in the Wall Street Journal in November 2006. Davis admitted to spending as much time on the tour bus playing the game as he did on stage performing! Said Davis, “This is the hottest game in the country and we are stoked to have them on the tour.”

About Family Values: Korn, along with management company The Firm, created The Family Values Tour in 1998 with a bill headlined by Korn and performances from Rammstein, Ice Cube, Limp Bizkit and Orgy. 1999’s line-up featured headliners Limp Bizkit, along with Filter, The Crystal Method, Primus, Staind, Mobb Deep, Ja Rule, and Method Man & Redman. Korn also made surprise appearances at a few dates. Beyond the live touring aspect, the debut outing of Korn Family Values Tour spawned a gold-certified live album and platinum-certified companion home video. This was followed in spring 2000 with the second live disc and long-form home video. The 2001 trek featured Stone Temple Pilots, Linkin Park, Staind, Static-X and Deadsy. Family Values continued in the summer of 2006 with Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Dir en grey on the main stage resulting in another live cd and dvd making it one of the most consistently successful tour franchises in music history.

About Guitar Hero II: Guitar Hero II explodes onto the Xbox360™ with over 70 songs and the revolutionary X-Plorer® Controller! Selecting from a wild group of rockers and jamming at concert venues that grow in size leading your Rock Star all the way to Stonehenge. Play with a friend and shred riffs cooperatively playing the lead, bass or rhythm, or go head-to-head in one of two Face-Off Modes.
