The Cult’s stunning new album, “Born Into This” is out October 1st. Their first studio album since 2001, it was recorded in LA and produced by Youth who has worked on Primal Scream and The Verve – and he has stamped a modern electro-dancey feel to the rock band’s sound! Vocalist Ian Astbury recently collaborated on the UNKLE album, demonstrating why the band always remain fresh!

Astbury organised the Tribes Festival in LA and San Francisco – which drew 40,000 people, and inspired Lollapalooza, which started in 1991
He is involved in the Darfur relief scene, contributing to an album, “The Campaign to Save Darfur”
