Last year rock ballad solo artist Zucchero kicked off his great FLY WORLD Tour on 3 May at the Olympia in Paris and until December 2007 had performed concerts in 111 European and world cities, all sold out.
This year he’s about to go all round the world with the “ALL THE BEST WORLD TOUR 08”.
This tour follows on from the success of the “ALL THE BEST” double CD with 35 songs, of which 5 are original pieces, which went on simultaneous world release on 23.11.07.
The concert is completely new in the stage design, lighting and, to a large extent, the repertoire, and revolves around an incredibly strong band with the following line-up:
David Sancious : keyboards, former key figure in Springsteen’s E-Street Band, besides collaborations with Peter Gabriel, Santana, Sting and Eric Clapton.
Mario Schilirò :guitar, the historic guitarist of the Band.
Kat Dyson : guitar, former guitarist with Prince (New Power Generation).
Adriano Molinari : drums, a longstanding member of the Band.
Polo Jones : bass, another mythical and historic member of the Band.
An excellent brass section accompanies the Band exclusively for this tour, and is composed of:
James Thompson sax tenor, flute and sax baritone
Massimo Greco trumpet, flugelhorn
Beppe Caruso trombone and bass trombone

The second part of the Tour will, in fact, begin at the SANSIRO STADIUM – MILAN on 14.6, and will continue until the end of July, taking part in major European rock festivals including, among others, ROKIN’ RIO in MADRID with THE POLICE.
The third part, from mid September until December, will continue in the USA, CANADA, SOUTH AMERICA, AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN.
Thanks to the Councillor for Leisure Services, Giovanni Terzi, the event at the SANSIRO STADIUM THEATRE will be used as an opportunity to inform the public about the Fill the cup project as part of the United Nation’s World Food Programme.
The SANSIRO 2000 CONSORTIUM, in the persons of Dr. Pierfrancesco Barletta and Dr. Alfonso Cefariello, Managing Directors of the SANSIRO CONSORTIUM, will be a partner in the project.
