The Lazarus Plot release their latest single The Sun Shines Down.

Described by The Sun as ‘one to watch’, The Lazarus Plot have managed to create their own unique sound borne from a mesh of truly diverse artists such as Massive Attack, World Party, The Divine Comedy, DJ Shadow and even Duran Duran.

One minute the band hit you with melodic guitars and pianos and you are expecting to hear a standard indie band, suddenly an unexpected loop kicks in, backwards vocals fight to grab your attention whilst countless samples and offbeat rhythms all sit neatly together, seamlessly layered on top of each other.

2007 saw the band land within the psyche of the national music media following the release of two singles to widespread plaudits from all quarters…

“”Music which snatches unbowed elation from the claws of melancholy” - Flavorpill.net

“Musically polished to near perfection” - Recordscout.com

The Lazarus Plot are also supporting The Orpheus Centre (Registered Charity Nos. 1105213) a residential performing arts centre for young disabled people, generally with physical and/or sensory impairments.
