AMON AMARTH were today confirmed to play DOWNLOAD 2008, which takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire between June 13th – 15th.

AMON AMARTH will join Metal Blade label mates JOB FOR A COWBOY and THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER who are already on the bill. ,
AMON AMARTH are currently writing new songs for the highly anticipated follow up to 2006’s ‘WITH ODEN ON OUR SIDE’ album.

The band are scheduled to enter Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden in May with producer Jens Bogren to begin recording their, as yet untitled, new album for an Autumn 2008 release on Metal Blade Records,
